Increasing oil production from depleted fields through seismic stimulation

Increasing oil production from hard to recover reserves in extremely flooded and depleted fields can be considerably improved through the application of a complex of wave technologies. The target formations for such technolo gies are zones of fields taken out of active development and previously artificially water-flooded formations. Their in-place reserves are great, and in Western Siberia alone, they comprise billions of tons.
