Students to have own agenda at Sustainable Earth Sciences event in Valencia

EAGE believes that the organization has a role to play in the further devel-opment of applied science and technol-ogy with regards to sustainable use of the earth and related environmental geosciences. One way of doing this is to offer a platform for the scientists working in these fields, hence the inau-gural Sustainable Earth Sciences con-ference being held in Valencia, Spain on 8-11 November with the theme `Technologies for Sustainable Use of the Deep Sub-surface'. Geothermal Energy, CO2 Storage and Deep Earth Storage are the disciplines that have been cho-sen to highlight at this first.
