A new initiative to protect the rights of the true stewards of the land: private landowners.The Forest Landowners Association (FLA) works each day to preserve the property rights that our founding fathers envisioned, serving as the credible voice of private forest landowners when dealing with elected representatives, the public, and the news media.FLA's push to develop a strategy to defend landowners and help define sustainability led to the Forest America initiative. Forest America, unveiled earlier this year, is an accomplishment that will have a tremendous impact for forest landowners.
