If a company is to find the optimal pallet wrapping method, it must look at many different aspects. Costs, customer preferences and the branding of the wrapped products are but a few. Proper wrapping of pallets loaded with food products is required to provide protection and to stabilise the load for shipping, handling and storage. There are three pallet wrapping methods to choose from: the traditional stretch and shrink wrapping, and the newer hood stretch wrapping.
