Diaphragm control valve for water and manufacturing applications

A self-adjusting valve with zero dead volume is now available from Burkert Fluid Control Systems. The pneumatically operated Type 2730 Diaphragm Control Valve, with plastic body, comprises hermetical separation of fluids from the operating mechanism by the diaphragm, and is rated for use with potable water and sterile applications as well as with aggressive waste fluids. The unit includes a pneumatically operated piston actuator, which is designed to facilitate frequent alteration to the defined stroke. The 2730 is thus suited to applications and processes in which a controlled flow-rate is frequently altered.
