The development in car manufacturing shows an increased usage of Non-Ferrous Metals (NF) over the last two decades. At the same time, the usage of steel in cars is decreasing. Therefore, Non-Ferrous products, their variety and their qualities will become one of the most important factors for a successful Operation of an Automobile Shredder. It will not longer be sufficient to derive one or two mixed NF-Fractions by Eddy Current Separators only. International and domestic markets will demand special quality products, with a guaranteed composition and guaranteed properties. Mono product fractions like copper, zinc, brass and aluminum will develop into important products over the next years.
