Following the last-minute passage of legislation extending the life of the Terrorism Risk Insurance Act through 2007 (see FCN, Jan. 2, page 1), industry players, including the American Insurance Association, have begun examining the strengths and weaknesses of various long-term terrorism insurance mechanisms.
