Australian doctors say the government should tax 'junk" food and use the money to fund cheaper healthy food if it wants to get serious about the obesity epidemic. The Australian Medical Association has been one of a number of lobbies calling for a tax on unhealthy foods but this is the first time anyone has linked a tax with a subsidy.
