As FDA begins to focus its attention on possible regulatory issues surrounding the adoption of nanotechnology (see FCN Oct. 16, Page 14), the food industry - which has already poured millions into research and development of nano-derived food and packaging products - is eagerly anticipating the potential benefits of the rapidly developing science.
