A new technique of enlightened experimentation has been used to build me multidimensional feasible domain of sand casting of semi-circular plates made of magnesium alloy AZ91E Equations of the sound feeding distance and of the micro-shrinkage severity class have been designed in the domain for identifying the influential factors and for prediction Multicriteria optimization is carried out to reduce costs, improve castings soundness and decrease variation due to uncontrolled factors. The link between a numerical model of the solidification of magnesium allays with the experimental feasible domain will constitute a significant tool for micro-shrinkage emergence prediction.
