These lessons included the need to create more effective information-sharing agreements with foreign authorities pre-and post-licensure; to better encourage global vaccine development plans, and regulatory cooperation and harmonization; to conduct increased annual inspections of flu vaccine manufacturers; and to facilitate better communications on vaccine GMPs through a vaccine roundtable that will be held this fall.
