It was just a matter of minutes into a tour through Copac's U.S. facility in South Carolina when the subject of achieving perfection was brought into sharp focus. Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Tom McRae, pointed out that, "More than 90 percent of product recalls are due to printing errors on their packaging." It was easy to see why eliminating the potential for errors and then achieving consistent repeatability is Copac's mantra. McRae continued, "In a pharmaceutical environment where you can't have a single bad carton, having the assurance that the incoming product — that every single piece — is going to be good, allows the customers' production lines to run faster because they don't have to slow down and check for errors."
