Emballages Roos and Bobst have worked with each other since 1946, when Siegfried Roos travelled down from Cremines, in the Swiss Jura mountains, to Lausanne and bought the company's first Bobst die-cutter.Mr Roos had established a printing works under his own name in 1942, after buying the plant and equipment from its previous owner, and over time both the Roos family and the business grew. Three of Sigfried's four sons are now part of this printer and carton maker, which became a limited company in 1971 and which, in 1978, was split into two autonomous companies.
