Based in Welwyn Garden City, England, Calington is a wholly owned subsidiary of Asia Pulp and Paper (APP), one of the world's largest paper and board producers. With a staff of around twenty people, the company is responsible for marketing APP paper and board across the UK and Ireland. Logistic support is a vital element of the business and to help with this Calington has in place contracted cutting facilities in the UK along with strategic stocks of paper and board. This means that smaller orders can be cut to size and delivered quickly to meet customer demand and larger orders can be delivered directly from the mills.
