After a speaking engagement in Nashville some years ago I was asked, "What should our mill do to ensure a lube system's efficiency and to increase bearing lifetime?" My reply involved mechanics, but the theme of the reply was, "I don't yet know everything i should do on a given project, but I've learned most of the things not to do."
