Liquid-liquid equilibria for the quaternary system water + 1-propanol + cesium sulfate + cesium chloride were measured at 25 degrees C. The binodal curves and tie lines for quaternary system have been determined in order to investigate salting effects. Experimental tie lines were compared with values predicated by a modification of the Eisen-Joffe equation. (c) 2006 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
