Consumers are continually seeking the best products at the best price, and improvements in domestic manufacturing are helping retailers, builders and design professionals find tile that rivals the level of quality and design found from high-end European producers. "Availability, quality control and quick supply are three key advantages to selling domestically-manufactured tile to the domestic market," said Lori Kirk-Rolley, Daltile's senior marketing director. "Products that we produce domestically also have a better sustainable story to tell in terms of transportation miles, fuel costs and better monitoring of manufacturing efficiencies. Domestically produced products can also be used in government projects where Made in the U.S.A. is a requirement."
