[Chattanooga, Tenn.] A series of drought years in the 1990s sparked the North Georgia-based carpet industry to turn its attention to conservation efforts. What started as a way to save water soon morphed into efforts at conservation of resources on a much broader scale. The efforts ultimately spread throughout the entire flooring industry and touched every aspect of flooring product manufacturing and installation.
