Consumer demand, slow growth characterize market

Strong consumer preference for hardwood and the emergence of new styles and designs is propelling category growth in 2015 and going forward. But while the wood market is growing, it's at a slower rate than anticipated, said Dan Natkin, senior director of residential products at Mannington Mills. Sales growth, he noted, is projected to be in the low single digits for this year.
