(Yes, the kitchen.) "Over the years, I've become friendly with the general manager," said Katz, president of Mineola, N.Y.-based Harry Katz Carpet One. If the VIP treatment isn't your thing, then there's the old standby: Vegas' famous buffets, which offer tourists more bite for their buck. For a cheap meal, head over to the Surf Buffet at the Boardwalk (13.99 dollars for dinner), open 24 hours. Another inexpensive, all-you-can-eat option is the Circus Buffet at Circus Circus (10.99 dollars for dinner).
