The demand for fragrances and flavours is estimated to increase at the rate of 5.3% during 2009-2014 to reach $6,480 bn in 2014 in the Asia Pacific, according to new data from the Freedonia Group. Global demand is predicted to touch $23.5 bn in 2014 with a growth rate of 4.1 %/y. The Asia-Pacific regions such as China and India are forecasted to witness the fastest growth and account for one-third of total value gains between 2009 and 2014.
