Stepan reports higher 4Q and FY 2015 results

Stepan reported net income of $12.9 M for 4Q 2015. Adjusted net income was $17.0 M, a 93% increase versus $8.8 M in the prior year. Surfactant operating income was $24.3 M, a 101% increase compared to 4Q 2014, while polymer operating income was up 38% to $18.1 M. Surfactant and polymer sales volumes increased by 10% and 7%, respectively.
