Akzo Nobel's surfactants division has decided to divest its European Lilamin business to CECA SA,the speciality chemicals business unit of France's Arkema group.The Lilamin business deals with the supply of anticaking additives to the fertilizer industry,and the acquisition boosts CECA's presence in this sector of activity,with a greater access to the growing markets of Eastern Europe.In addition,the deal also involves the sale of CECA's commodity Primary Amines business to Akzo Nobel.
