DIC pools its Japanese inks business with that of Dai Nippon Printing

DIC Corp (of Tokyo) has further consolidated its position as the world's largest producer of printing inks. On 29 June, it signed an agreement to pool its Japanese printing inks business with Inctec's Japanese printing inks business, creating a new entity that will be initially capitalised at Yen 100 M. The new entity will be owned 66.6% by DIC and 33.4% by Dai Nippon Printing Co Ltd (DNP), one of Japan's leading printing companies and the parent of Inctec.
