US Patent 8,663,667 was granted on 4 Mar 2014 to L'Oreal for a composition that consists of a sugar silicone surfactant, a polyamine, a hyperbranched polyol, gelling agent, a minimum of one polar modified polymer, a colorant and water. Lactobionolactonesiloxane, gluconamidoethylaminopropylsilicone or a mixture are the favoured sugar silicone surfactants and account for around 1 -10% of the total composition.
