Chemsil launches Emulsil CC-44 cationic emulsion for hair care applications

Chemsil Silicones Inc has introduced Emulsil CC-44, a cationic emulsion for hair care applications. The new product is a 35%-active cationic emulsion of amodimethicone and also contains cetrimonium chloride and trideceth-12. Emulsil CC-44 utilizes a preservative system that does not release formaldehyde and is paraben-free. With an average particle size that is 15% smaller than competitive products, the product is said to provide improved deposition of the active ingredients across the entire hair shaft resulting in improved conditioning, frizz control, softness, wet and dry comb.
