摘要

Diethyltoluenediamine (DETDA) was grafted to single-walled carbon nanotubes(SWNTs) through one-step diazotisation for improving interfacial bonding and load-transfer in SWNT/ epoxy resin nanocomposites.Characterisation results of FT1R validated covalent bonding between DETDA and carbon nanotubes.The degree of SWNT functionalisation was about 2% based on TGA.
