World carbon black demand forecast to rise at 4.2% per annum

According to the multi-client report from Freedonia (of Cleveland,OH),world consumption of carbon black is forecast to increase by 4.2% per annum to 11 M tonnes in 2011.Of this total,tyres will account for 7.1 M tonnes,other rubber products for just under 3 M tonnes and speciality sectors (notably inks and paints) for over 1 M tonnes.
