Spot ethanol prices jumped again on Tuesday driven by the Chicago Board of Trade corn futures contract for December that soared as high as more than 21 cents/bushel above Its previous settlement. The contract ultimately ended the day at $3.582/bushel, a 16.6 cent/bushel increase from Monday. The contract rose on concerns that crops could be damaged by freezes during the next two weeks, market sources said.
