For its fiscal 2006 the Chemicals division of BASF AG has reported sales to third parties of euro 11.572 bn (euro 8103 M for its fiscal 2005),of which:inorganics euro 1134 M (euro 845 M),catalysts euro 2411 M (euro 72 M),petrochemicals euro 5754 M (euro 5084 M),intermediates euro 2273 M (euro 2002 M),EBITDA of euro 2235 M (euro 1942 M),EBIT of euro 1380 M (euro 1326 M),R&D spending of euro 178 M (euro 114 M),and additions to property,plant,and intangible assets of euro 3539 M (euro 639 M).The Chemicals segment consists of the Inorganics,Catalysts,Petrochemicals and Intermediates divisions.
