Refurbishing the reaction to modernise an ageing urea plant

The revamping of the urea plant oof PT PUPUK KUJANG at Cikampek, Indonesia has been recently completed by SIIRTEC NIGI. The urea plant is operating now with increased efficiency and safety. These revamping activities, performed on a turnkey basis by SIIRTEC NIGI with FBM Hudson Italiana as its subcontractor, included the relining of the urea reactor, the installation of high-efficiency reactor trays and th optimization of process operating conditions. The revamped plant now consumes less steam making the production of urea at Cikampek more competitive.
