JDCPhosphate reports IHP pilot plant progress

JDCPhosphate is close to commissioning the Improved Hard Process (IHP) pilot plant at Fort Meade, Florida. The timeta- ble had been extended as teething Issues had been resolved. Tip Fowler, JDCPhos-phate's CEO, said: "The IHP demonstration plant continues to make steady progress as we move through the commissioning phase. IMechanical issues and punch list items are being addressed as they present and we have not encountered any problems that erode our confidence in our ability to execute a safe and successful start-up in the near term." The first phosphoric acid is expected to be produced at the plant from late October.
