The Spanish market in at an impasse, dogged by buyer uncertainty and falling prices. Trade is largely on-hold with buyers opting to wait-and-see rather than take a risk. The cereals application season is drawing to a close, but maize and rice application is yet to really start. March was an extremely poor month in terms of fertilizer trade, largely because of inclement weather, and early April has not seen a notable improvement.
