MARKET SUMMARY:Phoschem reported 55,000t of new sales for the week which included sales in Mexico,Venezuela and Brazil.All the sales were in the range of 435 pt fob Tampa.China is expected to announce a new phosphate export tax that is will be effective on May 1.The tax is rumoured to be 20% and will apply to shipments through Sept and then the tax will be reduced to 10% on October 1.This pending tax has forced traders to re-evaluate their economics on Chinese phosphate shipments.
