In the Middle East sulphur producers have successfully held up fourth quarter prices above 50 pt fob,while continuing to enjoy high-40's pt fob on second-half contracts in baseload North African markets.This week Adnoc announced a reduction of just 1 pt for November liftings to 52 pt fob for the Indian market.Lowest price conceded so far in the Middle East is Aramco's Q4/Q1 2007 contract with Brazil agreed around 46-47 pt fob Jubail.
