Role of IT in Fertiliser Promotion and Extension and Future Prospects

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (IT) SURELY holds lot of promise for Indian Agriculture.But it is necessary to note that IT or any other technology for that matter is just a means of overall development of agriculture and fertiliser promotion.A technology cannot be solution in itself.It has to be used very carefully for the desired results.Fertiliser industry has come forward to make use of information technology for fertiliser promotion and extension for the farming community.
