For the majority of home owners, views of unsightly things in and around their property are an unavoidable part of life. We are often confronted with untidy neighbors, unattractive infrastructure, or the ugly bits of our own house. Talented landscapedesigners everywhere have found unique ways to mask common eyesores. We set out to find examples of how various designers across the country solve these familiar problems, and in the process, we discovered many ingenious solutions. What follows are 10 design ideas that block, camouflage, or disguise the most noticeable eyesores nearly every home owner faces.
