FIT-INFRARED is now moving into the aerospace industry, as Finishing found out. FIT-INFRARED has completed the final phase of its customised gas catalytic infrared curing process for aircraft cowlings, which has been commissioned by a major aeronautical engine manufacturer. Shown here is the inner Rotating Curing Curve, this is complemented by an outer rotating segment, both of which provide precision doses of long-wave infrared energy. Fuelled by natural gas, or in the mobile version by propane, the system delivers heat where and when it's needed and at a fraction of the fuel cost of other methods.
