Coromandel International Limited organized a bike rally on 10th of February, 2015 in Shimoga District of Kamataka to educate the farmers about the balanced use of plant nutrients to improve crop productivity and sustain soil health. Recordings were played through the rally consisting of an Audio van. The farmers were apprised aboutthe technical specifications of different fertiliser products marketed by the company and their salient features and advantages. A tractor and nearly 70 bikes along with a local band started from Tyavangi village and ended in Kattalagiri village. More than 10 major villages were covered along the stretch of 40 kms.
