Brookfield has set the standards in viscometry measurement for over 70 years, since it was established as a small family business in 1930s. Today, it is an international operation -still family owned and with its manufacturing facility near Boston Massachusetts - with local offices and service centres in Europe and China plus a dealer distribution network throughout the world. Brookfield's product range includes an extensive range of viscometers, rheometers and accessories for accurate, reliable cost-effective measurement. Brookfield Viscometers Ltd, based in Harlow Essex and headed by Joe Moi, is the European headquarters, providing comprehensive sales and service support to UK customers and responsible for promoting the Brookfield range throughout Europe and the Far East. Brookfield instruments are widely employed throughout manufacturing industry, both in product development and QC laboratories and for product testing on the factory floor. However, because of their specific characteristics, paints and surface coatings offer particular challenges in viscosity measurement and, over the years, Brookfield has developed a number of instruments and measurements specifically designed for this industry.
