Yara Australia Pty Ltd. began a suit against Burrup Holdings Ltd. and its wholly owned subsidiary Burrup Fertilizers Pty Ltd. this week, after those companies blocked attempts to allow an independent auditor to undertake a full inspection of Burrup's books, Yara International said November 9. Yara Australia had sought to exercise its rights as a 35% shareholder of Burrup and carry out the audit but has been denied access by Burrup, the company said. Burrup denied November 11 blocking any audit by Yara.
