THE SHIPPING of Belarusian potash through the Lithuanian port of Klaipeda may be increased, according to comments made by Edminas Bagdonas, the Lithuanian ambassador in Belarus, in a 13 February press conference. Bagdonas reportedly said this issue would be on the agenda of a regular session of the Belarusian-Lithuanian commission for trade and economic cooperation in Minsk scheduled for March. Representatives of transport departments, railroads and foreign ministries of both the countries are to take part in the session, said the local report.
