EuroChem in talks over Belarus JV plan

EUROCHEM HAS entered into discussions about founding a joint venture to produce fertilizer in Belarus with Gomel Chemical Plant, officials at the state-owned Belarusian producer confirmed in an interview to a Russian newspaper this week. Igor Lyashenko, the director of Gomel Chemical Plant, told the Russian Kommersant newspapers that executives at the two companies had started discussions at the end of last week over establishing a joint venture to produce complex fertilizers in Belarus.
