As indicated last week, UAN appears to have entered the doldrums for the time being. GrodnoAzot failed to attract interest from bidders in the sales tender for 25,000t UAN 32% on 3 September. The initial reserve was set at ?340/t daf, and was subsequently lowered, but a cost in the $490s/tonne fob equivalent did not attract bidders.
