Terra cashes in on higher prices, sales

TERRA INDUSTRIES reported huge gains in income and revenues in the fourth quarter and for all of 2007 thanks to higher prices and greater sales, the company said this week. Net income for the fourth quarter was $69.7m, up from net income of $11.6m for the same period in 2006. Revenues for the 2007 fourth quarter ended December 31 totalled $570m compared to $450m for the 2006 fourth quarter.
