Sinochem buys Shandong Deqilong

Sinochem Fertilizer, part of Sinofert Holdings Ltd, has acquired 75% of Shandong Deqilong Chemical Industry Co Ltd for Rmb730m ($109m). On completion of the deal, Shandong Deqilong will become a subsidiary of the company. Shandong Deqilong produces urea in the eastern province of Shandong, with an annual production capacity of 1.1m tonnes of urea, 250,000 tons of ammonium bicarbonate and 300,000 tonnes of methanol.
