CANADA'S POTASH North Resource Corporation has acquired a private company which holds rights to a 100% interest in the two Saskatchewan potash exploration permits KP 416 and KP 417. The company paid Peninsula Merchant Syndications Corp. C$1.13m (US$1.10m) in cash for the shares of the private company and paid Potash One Inc. C$2.60m (FW Online, 18 April 2008).
