EGYPT: MOPCO achieved $410/mt FOB in sales of a total of about 18,000 mt granular urea to traders Keytrade, Agrium Europe and Toepfer via the producer’s November 24 sales tender. While out of line with recent activity in Northwest Europe, the price paid may well become competitive in nearby markets as the price for FSU material surges. In earlier business, Helwan reported sales of 8-10,000 mt granular to traders at $406-408/mt FOB ahead of last week’s Eid celebrations, and similar sales this week.
