CHINA: Offers for export from bonded warehouses moved up over the week, with trades suggested as high as $375-376/mt FOB for January positions. Domestic prices eased further early in the week, but have since remained stable. Offers from producers in the North were available at Rmb1,840-1,900/mt FOT ex- factory, down on the Rmb1,870-1,920/mt FOT assessed last week. Local distributors nevertheless appear prepared to wait for further reductions in prices as exports diminish, and are holding out for numbers closer to Rmb1,800/mt FOT in preparation for the next application-season.
