Uralkali forecasts recovery for 2010

GLOBAL POTASH sales should rebound sharply in 2010 after falling almost 50% last year, Uralkali said in its 2009 results this week. The group’s net profit fell 59% to RUB 9.09 billion last year, Ebitda earnings slumped 60% to RUB 16.4 billion and sales fell almost 50% to RUB 33.8 billion.
